Prevention of Workplace Harassment with Specialized Training

Prevention of Workplace Harassment with Specialized Training

In our constant commitment to peaceful management of labor relations, we announce a key proposal aimed at companies: the realization of specialized training on the prevention of workplace harassment, gender-based harassment, and sexual harassment.

Prevention of Workplace Harassment with Specialized Training

As is known, the employer is responsible for the work environment, just as they are responsible for safety and hygiene. In this respect, there is responsibility even when offensive behavior does not come from a company representative, but from another employee. That is why we have designed these workshops to proactively address these crucial issues. The fundamental objective of these workshops is to highlight the importance of promoting and safeguarding the right of all individuals to work in a violence-free, safe, and respectful environment.

"These sessions are structured to inform staff on identifying and preventing harassment, as well as differentiating it from other non-harassment situations," explains our partner Dr. Mariana Casella, who leads this initiative.

In these trainings, both the implementation of preventive measures and monitoring systems are addressed, as well as the use of "protocols for handling harassment complaints," developed by our experts. These protocols, tailored to the needs of each company, serve as an effective mechanism to internally channel complaints and clarify reported incidents, ensuring a prompt and effective response to risk situations.

With this proposal, we renew our commitment and focus on conflict prevention in the workplace.

"It is crucial that companies have preventive policies against workplace harassment and the implementation of a procedure or 'protocol' for handling complaints of this nature," says Dr. Casella. "Our approach not only focuses on informing about situations that may constitute moral harassment and other types of harassment in the workplace, but also on providing concrete tools to prevent such behaviors".
